Procedure documentationCorrelate Comparison Group Results Locate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

The following prerequisites must be met by the comparison instances in a comparison group of specific type to allow a correlation:

  • Display

Using this group type, completely independent comparison instances can be grouped together, for example, all SAP-CRM related comparison instances, independent of the business object. Therefore, correlation is not possible.

  • Sequence

Using this group type, you can model the distribution of a business object from one system across many systems, for example, business partners from system A to system B to system C, and so on.

    Prerequisites:

    • All comparison instances have the same mapping and key fields.

    • Source type and connection data of the target system in a comparison instance (for example, system A to system B) correspond to the data in the subsequent comparison instance (system B to system C).

  • Distribution

Using this group type, you can model the distribution of a business object from one system to many target systems, for example, business partners from system A to system B, system A to system C, system A to system D, and so on.

    Prerequisites:

    • All comparison instances have the same source system and source type.

    • The mapping and key fields are identical.

Note Note

By validating a group, you can check whether the prerequisites are met.

End of the note.
