This view displays the number of business processes for which alerts appeared in business process monitoring, data consistency monitoring, or data volume monitoring.

You can specify whether the number of alerts displayed considers only the most recent alerts or all the open alerts. You can also filter the list of business processes by alert value or scenario.

Prerequisites

  • You have created at least one solution with business processes.

  • An alert has occurred for this solution in the business process monitoring area.

Procedure

Displaying Details of Business Processes
  1. Select a business process in the list.

    The system displays details of the business process, in the Details of Business Process table. It displays the following data:

    • The business process steps or interfaces of the selected business process.

    • The rating for each business process step/interface.

    • The number of key figures and alert types for each step/interface.

  2. Select a business process step/interface in the list.

    the system displays details for the related step/interface in the Details of Business Step table. It displays the following data:

    • The Monitoring objects linked to the selected business process step/interface.

    • The key figures for each monitoring object.

    • The last metric rating, worst open alert and the trends of various metrics.

  3. Launch the process graphic for a selected business process, by choosing Process Graphic, embedded or in a new window:

    • The process graphic view is a graphical representation of the business process steps and any technical interfaces. Dotted lines represent synchronous interfaces, and solid lines represent asynchronous interfaces. The graphic also displays the name of the logical component to which the solution is assigned.

    • In the graphic, the red, green or yellow LED lights represent alerts. When you choose one of these LED lights, you go to the Alert Inbox.

      Note Note

      In the graphic, the highest alert that has appeared for the step is displayed as the overall status of the process step.

    • If you choose the name of a business process in the graphical overview, you go to the Solution Directory.

    • If you choose the name of a business process step, you go to the Alert inbox that displays the corresponding alerts.

    • If you choose one of the system information icons displayed at the top of the process graphic, you go to the corresponding system monitoring application screen.

    • You can switch to the interface channel monitor graphic view with F4. When you choose F4, the system displays all business interfaces of the solution, and technical interfaces, with their assigned monitoring objects.
