You can edit a comparison object that you have created at any time.

Procedure

Displaying a Comparison Object

  1. Choose   Comparison Object   Load  .

  2. Select a comparison object.

  3. Choose Display Selected Comparison Object.

    The comparison object is displayed.

Changing a Comparison Object Parameter

  1. Choose   Comparison Object   Load  .

  2. Select a comparison object.

  3. Choose Display Selected Comparison Object.

    The comparison object is displayed.

  4. Choose Edit.

    Change the comparison object parameter.

  5. Save your entries.

    The changes are saved.

Changing Comparison Object Settings

  1. Choose   Comparison Object   Load  .

  2. Select a comparison object.

  3. Choose Display Selected Comparison Object.

    The comparison object is displayed.

  4. Choose Edit.

  5. Under Data Model for Comparison, choose the setting that you want to edit.

    Change the comparison object setting.

  6. Save your entries.

    The changes are saved.

Copying a Comparison Object

Copying a comparison object allows you to create a similar comparison object quickly. To do this, copy a comparison object, save it under a new name, and then change the settings of the copied comparison object.

  1. Choose   Comparison Object   Load  .

  2. Select a comparison object.

  3. Choose Display Selected Comparison Object.

    The comparison object is displayed.

  4. Choose Copy.

    A dialog box appears.

  5. Specify the name of the new comparison object and save your entries.

    The copied comparison object is displayed. To change the settings for the copied comparison object, choose Edit.

Deleting a Comparison Object

  1. Choose   Comparison Object   Load  .

  2. Select a comparison object from the list.

  3. Choose Display Selected Comparison Object.

    The comparison object is displayed.

  4. Choose Delete.

    The comparison object is now deleted.

Deleting Comparison Object Settings

  1. Choose   Comparison Object   Load  .

  2. Select a comparison object.

  3. Choose Display Selected Comparison Object.

    The comparison object is displayed.

  4. Choose Edit.

  5. Under Data Model for Comparison, choose the setting that you want to delete.

  6. Delete the setting.

  7. Save your entries.

    The setting is now deleted.

Editing Old Versions of Comparison Objects

  1. On the Comparison Object tab page, select a comparison object and choose Load old version.

    The system displays a list with the available versions of the comparison object.

  2. Select an old version and choose OK.

  3. Modify the old version of the comparison object and save.

Result: The system creates a new version of the comparison object. When you execute a comparison run for a comparison instance, the system uses the latest version of the comparison object. When you delete a comparison object, all versions are deleted.
