Editing Comparison Instances

You can edit a comparison object that you have created at any time.

Procedure

Changing a Comparison Instance

Choose Comparison Instance Load .
Select a comparison instance.
Choose Display Selected Instance.

The comparison instance is displayed.
Choose Edit.

You can now edit the comparison instance.
Save your entries.

The changes are saved.

Note Note

You cannot replace the comparison object in a comparison instance. Instead, you need to create a new comparison instance with the relevant comparison object.

Copying a Comparison Instance

Choose Comparison Instance Load .
Select a comparison instance.
Choose Display Selected Instance.

The comparison instance is displayed.
Choose Copy.

A dialog box appears.
Specify the name of the new comparison instance and save your entries.

The copied comparison instance is displayed. To change the settings for the copied comparison instance, choose Edit.

Deleting a Comparison Instance

In the Comparison Instance view, select a comparison instance and choose Delete.
In the dialog box that appears, choose Yes.

The comparison instance is now deleted.

Note Note

When you delete a comparison instance, all comparison results are deleted as well. If you only want to delete the comparison results, without deleting the instance, you can use transaction DSWP_CDC_REORG. For more information, see Deleting Comparison Results.
