You want to create a cancellation of a job scheduling.

Prerequisites

You have satisfied the prerequisites for the Job Request application. For more information, see Job Requests.

Procedure

  1. If you prefer, you can also choose the detail view.

    Note Note

    The system default is the basic view.

  2. On the Create Job Request screen under Request Type, choose the following: Request: Delete Existing Job.

  3. Use the Jobname input help to select the job to be deleted.

    1. You can use wildcards (*) to restrict the search results.

    2. Select the desired job from the search result table and choose OK.

    The system automatically displays the detail information about the job and copies the data from the job documentation to the request form.

  4. Enter the Service Desk Context:

    1. Select a priority for the message.

    2. Choose a component.

    3. Enter a short and long text.

    4. Enter the business partners for Reporter and Sold-To Party. You can use the input help or enter the business partner numbers directly. When you have entered the business partner number, the system shows its details.

  5. Choose Send to send the job request.

    The system saves the job request.

Result

You have created a job request to delete a job, based on a Service Desk message.
