When you have set up and applied the filter (see Change and Use Filter), the note information is displayed in the tabs, sorted by note type. The numbers in parentheses indicate the number of notes.
Note
Only the note types which you are authorized to use, are displayed. For more information, see the SAP Solution Manager Security Guide in the SAP Service Marketplace, under
, under 4 Operations.Use a filter to display the notes for the selected system.

Note
When a filter is applied for the first time for a technical system, no note information is displayed, although there may be relevant notes. A message tells you that you must perform either a manual or automatic update.
This is because when you apply a filter, the note information is loaded from the SAP Solution Manager, not directly from the SAP Support Portal. Only note information that has been passed previously can be displayed. The date of the last update is displayed in the row Last Refresh.
To update the note information, you can:
Activate automatic update (see Update Notes Automatically). The notes are updated regularly, automatically.
Use automatic note information update for all monitored systems.
Update the note information manually. Choose Refresh. Update the note information manually, if the monitored solutions have been changed recently, or if you expect new notes for a system, for example because of a security patch.
The note information for the last month is passed from SAP Support Portal to SAP Solution Manager, and displayed. This can take some time.
Depending on the system (ABAP or Java) and the view, the following pushbuttons are displayed in the table header.
