In more complex change transactions, you need to monitor the transaction history. In the processing log, you can display all actions and status changes that you or another user carried out for a change transaction. The processing log provides an overview of the individual actions and their results. A log entry is created for each action and contains data such as the user name, action, time of execution, and both the old and new status.

You can specify whether you want to display all processing steps, or only the executed actions, changed fields, or other processing actions.

Prerequisites

In Customizing, you have specified:

  • Which information the system is to display in the processing log

  • From which assignment blocks the system is to display changed fields

To do this, choose   SAP Solution Manager   Capabilities   Change Control Management   Standard Configuration   Settings for Processing Log  .
