Procedure documentationArranging Views on Tabs Locate this document in the navigation structure

You place selected standard views on tabs, to satisfy specified information requirements.

Prerequisites

  • You have started the end user experience monitor.

  • You know the views available to analyze the data, and have specified your information requirements. For more information, see End User Experience Monitor.

Procedure

  1. Choose Tabs.

    A dialog box appears.

  2. Choose Add.

You go to the Tab Editor dialog box.

  3. Enter a name.

  4. Specify the data display parameters:

    • Enter a description in the Description field.

    • If the tab is to be visible to all users, set the Public field.

    • Select the monitoring period, in the Time Period field.

    • In the Query Level field, specify the resolution of data to adjust the processing load depending on the frequency of execution and the monitoring period.

    • In the Aggregate field, specify how the results of the individual EEMon script executions are to be aggregated:

      • Latest: The error code of the last run is displayed as status.

      • Maximum: The highest error code is displayed as status (worst case).

      • Average: For availability, the highest error code is displayed. The performance error code is the arithmetic mean of the execution times of the steps of an EEMon script. A logon step, for example, requires 80 ms on average in multiple runs of the EEMon script. A yellow alert is raised, because of the threshold value you specified.

    • Deselect the objects which you do not want to show in the tab, under Robot/Script Filter.

    • Deselect the objects which you do not want to show in the tab, under Robot/Script Filter. You could, for example, hide green alerts, to improve comprehensibility. Or you could give the responsibility for performance and availability to different employees.

    • Click on the window under Views, to place the graphical display format in the tab, or to deactivate it.

  5. Save your entries.

  6. Choose Copy.
