You use Task Inbox to manage tasks created in various applications such as Issue Management, Change Request Management, Central System Administration, Work Mode Management, and Job Scheduling Management, centrally. This saves time and avoids unnecessary maintenance across applications.
Task Management allows you to create only application-independent, ad-hoc tasks. You can create application-dependent tasks only in their respective applications. For more information, see SAP Note 1245491
You can manage tasks in the following ways:
By time, using the following attributes:
Overdue
Active
Created or completed on a specified date or period
By application in which they were created
As application-independent tasks
As recurring, preconfigured tasks (Central System Administration)
