If you have activated the out-of-time-window calculation for your BO jobs and BW process chains, the system raises an alert if a job or job step does not run in a specified time window. If the data evaluation determines that a job or step is, or has been, processed outside the defined time window, an alert is raised if the thresholds were reached or exceeded. The alert rating is set according to the threshold values for yellow and red. It does not matter whether the job runs before or after the defined time window. For example, if a job or a process chain runs completely inside a time window, the time window is rated green.

Note Note

The system always takes the time window that is closest to the starting point of the job or process chain as a reference.

End of the note.

Example

The graphic shows how the system assigns the reference points of time windows to the jobs.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
