You make the settings for Incident, Problem and Request Management in the SAP Solution Manager Configuration work center (transaction SOLMAN_SETUP). In the SAP Solution Manager Configuration Work Center, you can access the Incident, Problem and Request Management in a guided procedure, to configure their functions, step-by-step.

Features

  • In the guided procedure, you can perform the automatic and manual activities, which are distributed among various steps and substeps. The guided procedure also helps you to make required and optional settings in the required sequence.

    Note Note

You must copy the transaction types delivered by SAP, into customer namespace as one of the first Incident, Problem and Request Management settings activities For further information, see the documentation in SAP Solution Manager Configuration and the connected report.

    End of the note.

    • Show a warning if settings changes are required after a system update, or importing a support package.
