You create a training or documentation object for a transaction in a project, in SAP Solution Manager, if you want to use the project structure created in the Business Blueprint again to create objects.

Prerequisites

An SAP Productivity Pak server is configured, and the SAP Productivity Pak uPerform client is installed on the local work center computer and linked to the server.

If you want to create training objects based on a project structure in SAP Solution Manager, you have created a project. You have created a system landscape for the project. You have also defined a Business Blueprint and have created transactions on the Transactions tab, and assigned them to the structure.

Procedure

  1. Choose transaction SOLAR01 in SAP Solution Manager for the Business Blueprint view or choose SOLAR02 for the Configuration view.

  2. Select the structure element to which the training object is to be assigned, either in the Business Blueprint or the Configuration structure.

  3. Choose the Transactions tab. You see a list of the transactions of the selected structure element.

  4. Select the row in the list for the transaction to which a training object is to be assigned.

  5. Choose Start Recording.

    The Assign SAP Productivity Pak Document dialog appears.

  6. Enter a title for the training object in the dialog, select the document type, create the initial status of the object, and select whether the training object is to be created as a document or as a recording.

    Confirm your entries by clicking OK (Enter) in the dialog.

Result

The training object is created. The object appears in the list on the Project Documentation tab, and is available for further processing on the SAP Productivity Pak server.
