You can schedule the creation of the Enterprise Support/PSLE report as a weekly or monthly background job. You can be informed by e-mail when the Enterprise Support Report/PSLE report is generated and open it from the e-mail.

Prerequisites

  • You have selected a variant of the Enterprise Support report or PSLE report.

  • You have created the solutions and systems in the solution landscape required for the report. For more information, see Specify Solutions an Systems.

Procedure

  1. Choose Schedule.

  2. Choose Create.

  3. Enter data as required.

    • In the Schedule ID field, enter a name for the background job.

    • Optional: If you have create a report variant, you can define it in the Report Variant field. See Create Report Variant for further information.

    • Specify the solution for which you want to create the Enterprise Support Report/PSLE report. You have to specify a solution that includes the production systems.

    • Specify the start date and time.

    • In the fields Latest Start Date and Latest Start Time, end date and end time, enter by what time the background job is to be executed periodically.

    • Specify the interval, at which the the background job is to run regularly (for example, 2 weeks, 3 months).

      Note Note

      In order for the system to be able to start a background job and generate a report, you must have entered a value other than 0 in the Interval field.

    • To be notified by e-mail and to be able to open the Enterprise Support Report/PSLE report from the e-mail, enter your e-mail address.

  4. Save your entries.

    The scheduled background job is displayed in the list.

Note Note

If a background job fails and the execution is flagged as failed in the overview, reschedule it, or create the Enterprise Support Report/PSLE report ad-hoc.
