Procedure

  1. To find the root cause of a critical or error status in report generation, on the BI Overview – <scenario> tab page, click Open Report Monitor traffic light.

  2. In the BW Report Monitor – <scenario> tab page, analyze the status of average response time for queries and templates.

    A red traffic light indicates that the average response time has crossed the threshold value, the green traffic light indicates that the average response time has not crossed the threshold value. If the status is not green, alerts are raised for the query or template.

  3. For more details and troubleshooting the issue, choose Expert Mode.

  4. To further analyze the status using local monitors, do the following:

    1. Select the query or template, which is in critical or error status.

    2. Choose   Navigate to   <local monitor>  .

    3. Analyze the average response time status.

  5. To view the alerts raised for the system, go to the Alert Inbox.

  6. To notify a user about the details of the average response time, send a notification.

  7. To request support to change the status, create a support message.
