As a test coordinator, you can change attributes of multiple test plans or test packages simultaneously. For example, you can do the following:

  • In the General Data view, assign multiple test packages or test plans to a person responsible

  • In the Planning Data view, change the planned start time of test packages or test plans

  • In the Automated Tests view, change the system data container or target system of test plans

Prerequisites

  • You have created several test plans or test packages.

  • You have the authorization to change test plans and test packages.

Procedure

  1. Start the Test Plan Management.

  2. In the Test Plan Management Views area, select whether you want to change the attributes of Test Plans or of Test Packages.

  3. Select test plans or test packages to which you want to assign new attributes.

  4. Choose Mass Change or   Mass Change   Attributes  , respectively.

    You go to the Mass Change screen

  5. In the View field, select the kind of data you want change.

  6. Select the items for which you want to change the attributes.

  7. In the New Values line, enter the values for the attributes, which are to be changed.

  8. Choose the Apply Mass Change pushbutton.

  9. Save your entries.

  10. If required, choose or create a transport request.

  11. Exit the function.

Result

The attributes of the selected items are changed. All test plans or test packages, which are not local objects and which are not already locked in a transport request, are included in the selected transport.
