Landscape Management Database (LMDB)

Product system editor	New	Product systems are created and edited in the Landscape Management Database. The verification check that was previously part of the Landscape Verification Wizard is now integrated into the new UI for maintaining product systems. You can migrate existing product systems from transaction SMSY into the LMDB. The product system model has been extended: it is now possible for more than one AS ABAP to be part of a product system. Synchronization of LMDB data with SMSY	Enhanced	For compatibility reasons, information about product systems and technical systems in the LMDB is synchronized with SMSY. Generate installation keys	New	You can now generate installation keys in the LMDB. (This function was previously in transaction SMSY.)	Generate Installation Keys
Upload to SAP Support Portal	Changed	In the LMDB technical system editor, you can define for individual technical systems whether their descriptions are to be uploaded to SAP Support Portal. Download from SAP Support Portal	Changed	Download data about technical systems from SAP Support Portal. For example, value added resellers can display and supplement this basic data, if no automatic data suppliers can provide more detailed system data. Solution Manager System Landscape (SMSY)
