  Rough Workload Estimate

Use

This function provides you with an overview of the estimated transportation workload for a relocation or relocation step at any early stage in the planning process.

Integration

For more information, see Assignments for Relocation (Infotypes 1981/1982) .

Features

Weight and volume data is determined as follows:

  • Material

    • Authorized Material

If material has not been planned in detail, a model assigned to the respective material planning object (MPO) is used as a calculation base for stock. If material has been planned in detail, the respective material master record is used.

    • Logistical Reqmts

The material master data stored for the corresponding logistical requirements is used for provisions.

  • Personnel

To calculate personnel, the weight groups of the assigned positions as well as the number of assigned persons are used.

The following fields are available for a force element in the Structures Workbench on the Rough Workload Est. tab page:

  • Rough workload estimate for material (top screen area)

    • Relocation Step ID/Object Name

The relocation step included in the rough workload estimate.

    • Issuing Force Element/Object Name

    Note Note

To show and hide fields, you can choose Layout Settings…

The type of relocation step determines whether data for both the issuing and receiving force element exists for the rough workload estimate, and therefore which material master data is available in this estimate. In accordance with the Customizing settings in the standard system, only data for the receiving force element is available for type 1, and for types 2 and 3, the data for the issuing force element is the same as that for the receiving force element.

    End of the note.

Activities

To create a rough workload estimate, choose one of the following from the selection area in the Structures Workbench :

  • A relocation, to display a rough workload estimate for all of the relocation steps in a relocation

  • A relocation step, to display a rough workload estimate for an individual relocation step
