Checks and Follow-Up Actions for Status Change

Use

If you change the status of a force element in the Structures Workbench, checks and follow-up actions are triggered.

Prerequisites

In Customizing, you have set up the required checks and follow-up actions. For more information, see Checks for Status Change and Follow-Up Actions After Status Change .

Features

The following standard checks and follow-up actions are available for the system administration area:

Follow-Up Actions
  • Follow-up action for updating authorizations (class /ISDFPS/CL_RM_STATUS_FOLLOW_UP)

After the status switch, the system automatically starts to update the authorizations of the affected users. For more information, see Assignment of Authorizations .

  • Follow-up action for setting up decentralized systems (class /ISDFPS/CL_STAFUP_BAS_SYSADM)

After the status of a force element changes, the system informs the agent responsible and asks the agent to set up the decentralized systems that are required for the relevant organizational structure (determined using infotype 1984 ).

You define the agent responsible in Customizing by choosing Start of the navigation path Defense Forces& Public Security Next navigation step Distributed System Landscape Next navigation step Set Up Workflow for the System Structure End of the navigation path .

The agent receives the following information about the force element:

    • The user who activated it

    • Root object

    • The logical system of Central User Administration

    • The logical system of the central system

    • The logical system of the decentralized system that is to be set up

    • Account assignment data

      • Chart of accounts

      • Company code

      • Controlling area

      • Financial management area

      • Fiscal year

      • Cost center group

      • Profit center group

If one of these parameters cannot be determined, a work item is not sent. The force element is activated nevertheless and a log is displayed containing the missing data.
