 Direct Recording of Training Activities

Use

You can use infotype 0806 (training data) to directly record training activities that a person has actually completed on the basis of the target value.

You have familiarized yourself with the recording of HR master data in the Personnel Administration component. Features

You assign the person a training program defined in Customizing and record, to the day, the completed training activities with reference to an order. One person can be assigned to several training programs. The training activities are stored and totaled individually in infotype 0806 by training program.

Activities

You want to enter training activities for a person.

  1. Call the Maintain HR Master Data application (transaction PA30) and select the required person.

  2. Choose the Training Data (0806) infotype and choose Create .

  3. In the Date field, enter the date on which the person is to start the training activities.

  4. Assign the person an order, and choose check to check whether the order selected exists for the date specified, and that the person in question is assigned to this order as a partner.

  5. Assign the person a training program, a function (if necessary also an additional function), and a training status .

    In the Training Details screen area, the system displays the training items defined as well as the corresponding target values.

  6. In the Actual Data field, record the training activities that have actually been completed.

  7. Save your entries.

    In the Total Act. Data field, the system totals the training activities that have been recorded for the respective training item.
