  Relocation Step

Definition

A step in a relocation sequence.

Use

Use this object to divide a relocation into different phases. This enables you to specify which material and/or personnel are to be distributed during a relocation and when.

A relocation step can be used in several relocations.

Structure

You define relocation steps in the application Display/Change Relocation Steps (transaction /ISDFPS/CREL2). The following fields are available:

  • Relocation Step ID

The object ID of the relocation step.

  • Organizational Area

    The organizational area assigned.

  • Country Key

    The country assigned.

  • Relocation Step Type

The type of relocation step, which determines whether:

    • An initial supply run is to be carried out for the assigned force element (type 1)

    • Material that already belongs to the assigned force element is relocated (type 2)

    • The assigned force element itself relocates the material that already belongs to it (type 3)

    • The material is to be redeployed to the assigned force element (type 4)

In Customizing for Defense Forces & Public Security , you define relocation step types by choosing Start of the navigation path Organizational Flexibility Next navigation step Relocation Planning Next navigation step Define Relocation Step Types End of the navigation path .

For more information about using the relocation step types, see Relocation of Material .

      Note Note

If you assign objects to a relocation step, you can change the relocation step on an object-specific basis.

      End of the note.

The long name of the relocation step.
