 Addition of Objects for the Distribution Scope

Use

You can manually add the following additional objects to the distribution scope of a force element for distribution from the central to the decentralized system.

  • Material master records

    From the central system and from the decentralized system, you can add material master records (FOX object type MATR) to the distribution scope that do not belong automatically to the distribution scope as a result of assigned material objects (such as material planning objects).

  • Functional locations

    From the central system, you can add functional locations (FOX object type FLOC) to the distribution scope that do not automatically belong to the distribution scope.

Objects added in this way are displayed on the Object List tab page for the force element.

Activities

Central System

You are currently in edit mode of the Command and Control Support application (transaction /ISDFPS/TOEFU1).

  1. Select the required force element.

  2. Choose the Object List tab page.

  3. To add a new entry, choose Append Row and select the required object, material master record, or equipment.

    To select functional locations, choose Assign Functional Locations to obtain a list of objects assigned indirectly to the force element using real estate contracts .

  4. Save your entries.

The objects in this list are distributed from the central system to the decentralized system in the next distribution run.

Decentralized System (Material Master Records Only)

You are currently in the Request Material Master Remotely application (transaction /ISDFPS/BD11).

  1. Select the force element from which the material master record is to be requested.

  2. Choose the required material master record.

    Since the object currently does not exist in the system, you must enter the relevant material number yourself.

  3. Specify the plant.

  4. Save your entries and choose Execute.

Your request is posted in the central system.

The requested material master record is copied to the object list for the force element and distributed from the central system to the decentralized system with the next distribution run.
