 Mode-Dependent Tagging

Use

You use this function to define that the untagging condition/type of tagged functional locations and equipment is determined automatically from the operation mode of the system.

Note Note

However, if an additional active logout/tagout exists, then the system adopts the current operational condition/type for the untagging condition/type.

End of the note.

Prerequisites

  • In Customizing for Work Clearance Management, under Maintain Usage for Work Clearance Documents you have set the Mode-Dependent Tagging indicator.

  • You have created the Master Data for Mode-Dependent Tagging.

Features

In the system, you define the operation mode as the Overall Condition of the Technical System .

If mode-dependent taggingis active for a work clearance document , you can no longer change the untagging condition/type of technical objects manually. When you set the status Prepared , the system checks whether the master data for mode-dependent tagging is complete. The untagging condition/type is determined automatically for all switched technical objects with status Tagged .

When you create the master data for mode-dependent tagging, you must define the untagging condition/type for all overall conditions for each technical object. Since the untagging condition/type is independent of the overall condition for many technical objects, you can also define an untagging condition/type for the generic overall condition. The generic overall condition is predefined by SAP.

Note Note

Once the Operational WCD has the status Processing, you can no longer change the overall condition.

End of the note.
