Direct Input for Multiple Contract Handling

You can use direct input to create a claim bundle in the category of Multiple Contract Handling. In direct input you can also make different changes to existing “multiple contract handling”.

Create “Multiple Contract Handling”

Mandatory Entries

In function module ICLE_CCEVENT_DI, fill the following parameters:

I_ACTYP: Enter 01 (for Create).
I_RANGEFROM: Enter the date on which the claim bundle occurred.
I_CCTYPE: Enter the claim bundle type. The possible input values are defined in Customizing for SAP Insurance under Claims Management Claim Bundle Business Settings Define Claim Bundle Types .
I_SUBTYPE: Enter the claim bundle subtype. The possible input values are defined in Customizing for SAP Insurance under Claims Management Claim Bundle Business Settings Define Subtypes per Claim Bundle Type .

In addition, you must create an entry in the input parameter table IT_ICLECCEVENTB (Participants) to determine the policyholder. Enter the following values:

ROLE: Enter POLH (for Policyholder).
BPARTNER: Enter the business partner number of the policyholder.

Optional Entries

You can also add a business partner in the participant role Insured Person. In this case, only the contracts of the insured person are displayed in the list of contracts.

In direct input you can execute the following additional functions that are also available in dialog mode:

Add incident type
You can add an incident type, and also a coverage, to a contract. When you then save the claim bundle, the system automatically creates a claim for this incident type. If you specify a coverage, the system also creates a subclaim.

Use Structure ICLEMCINC_DI (Create or Remove Incident Type) and, in the CHIND_REG field, enter the value I (for Create Incident Type).
Capture loss data
As with dialog mode, SAP only provides a sample implementation for a hospital stay and death for direct input operations.
- Hospital stay:
  Use Structure ICLEMCHOSP_DI (Enter Hospital Stay).
- Death:
  Use Structure ICLEMCDOD_DI (Enter Date of Death).

Change “Multiple Contract Handling”

As soon as “multiple contract handling” has been created (either in dialog mode or via direct input), you can make different changes to “multiple contract handling” via direct input.

In function module ICLE_CCEVENT_DI, fill the following parameters:

I_CCEVENT: Enter the number of the claim bundle that you want to change.
I_AKTYP: Enter 02 (for Change).

These are the changes that you can make:

Change date of loss
In “multiple contract handling” you can change the date of loss. To do so, use Structure ICLEMCLDAT_DI (Change Date of Loss).
Remove incident type
In “multiple contract handling” you can remove an incident type. To do so, use Structure ICLEMCINC_DI (Create or Remove Incident Type) and, in the CHIND_REG field, enter the value D (for Remove Incident Type).
Add contract manually
In “multiple contract handling” you can manually add a contract to the list of contracts. To do so, use Structure ICLEMCCON_DI (Add Contract Manually).
