 Variant Settings for Archiving (IS-U-IN)

Use

You can store additional selection criteria such as parameters for technical control of the program run, in the variants for archiving.

Features

The following settings possibilities are available for the preprocessing program and the archiving program:

Additional selection of archiving quantity

  • Document number/budget billing plan

  • Contract account

  • Contract/portion

Technical controls

  • Log category:

    • Only statistics

    • Detail log

    • Only incorrect data in detail log

  • Runtime limit according to:

    • End date

    • End time

    • Runtime limit active

      If you select the field, the analysis report ends when the end date and end time is reached. In doing so, you can also run the analysis program in short time frames.

  • Test options:

    • Test run

      Choose this option if you want to test the parameter settings without archiving the budget billing plans that can be archived.

  • The function to automatically start archiving is only available for the preprocessing program. If you want to start the archiving program (for budget billing plans, for example) automatically, you must select the corresponding field in the analysis program. When the analysis run is complete, event SAP_ISU_ARC_PRDOC_ANA_LINE_END is triggered. If you have already saved an archiving session with the same selection parameters as the analysis program, and scheduled it under the same variant name and start condition After Event , it is automatically started after completion of the analysis run.

    In both cases, write the variant names in uppercase letters.
