You use this business function to display the correct language version of the address of a specific object. An object can be a company code, customer, vendor, business partner, or the like. The address display coincides with the logon language, not necessarily the server language, and displays Latin and non Latin characters correctly.

Prerequisites
You are working in a system with SAP_APPL.
You have configured the Business Add-In (BAdI), Map Languages to International Address Versions (ADDR_LANGU_TO_VERS), to map the logon language to an international address version.
Features
Mapping Character Set to Logon Language
Whenever international versions are maintained for specific master data objects, the correct version is displayed in accordance with the logon language. If the logon language does not have an international address version assigned, the default version is displayed. The correct international address version is displayed at all times regardless of the logon language to ensure faster, simplified closing of sales order line items.
