A
release object in
Bank Customer Accounts
(BCA) that the system uses to determine whether the following actions are subject to release:
Entering account closure master data
Editing account closure master data
Entering an account reactivation reason
The system uses this object to generate a work item that can be processed in the Business Workplace by a user responsible for release.

You can use the following release attributes for account closure:
Bank area
Internal product ID
Account closure reason
Account balance
Account currency
Term agreement status
Account status enhancement
Internal reference accounts
External reference accounts
Both types of reference accounts (internal and external)
You can use the following release attributes for account reactivation:
Bank area
Internal product ID
Reactivation reason key
You cannot add new release attributes.

Business Workplace
Display account data
Change account data
If you change the master data for account closure, the system checks if the release procedure is applicable. If the release procedure is applicable, the system performs the following actions:
Generates a new work item for all agents except the agent who changes the closure data
Deletes the existing work item from the business workplace of all agents
However, you cannot change account data during account reactivation.
Release account closure process
When you release the Account Closure object, the system updates the account status enhancement to
Closure – Planned
while the account status remains
Active
.
Reject account closure process
This method changes the account status enhancement to
Active
(0010) while the account status remains
Active
. You can provide reasons for rejection from the
SAP Business Workplace
