SAP Web User Interface for Plant Maintenance (PM)
You can use Web-based interfaces for the following applications on the SAP Web user interface for Plant Maintenance:
Technical Objects on the Web User Interface (PM-EQM)
This application allows you, amongst other things, to process equipment and functional locations.
Preventive Maintenance on the Web User Interface (PM-PRM)
This application allows you, amongst other things, to use task lists, maintenance plans, and maintenance items.
Maintenance Processing on the Web User Interface (PM-WOC)
This application allows you, amongst other things, to process maintenance notifications and maintenance orders.
Working with service orders and service notifications is not supported on the SAP Web UI for Plant Maintenance.
Prerequisites
You have activated the business function Simplified Management of EAM Functions 3 (LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY_3
). For some of the functions described, you must also activate the business function Simplified Management of EAM Functions 4 (LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY_4
). You can use the functions provided by these business functions in the following ways:
In SAP NetWeaver Portal with the business packages Business Package for Maintenance Worker 1.61 and Business Package for Generic EAM Functions 1.61.
In SAP NetWeaver Business Client with the PFCG roles
