 Executing Notification

Use

You have two different options for executing notification.

  1. You perform notification at the end of the monitoring run, meaning that in your specifications for the monitoring run you selected the option 'Execute notification'. After a successful run, all accounts are then given the notification status 'notified'.

  2. You have the accounts to be notified flagged for notification during the monitoring run, meaning that in your specifications for the monitoring run you selected the option 'Flag for notification'. After a successful run, all accounts are then given the notification status 'flagged for notification'. Then you can analyze the flagged accounts by choosing Start of the navigation path Periodic tasks Next navigation step Tolerated overdraft Next navigation step Notification End of the navigation path , and execute notification as necessary. Only then are the selected accounts given the notification status 'notified'.

Prerequisites

In the Implementation Guide (IMG) you must have activated Business Transaction Event "Tolerated Overdraft" for the notification by choosing Start of the navigation path Basic settings Next navigation step Business Transaction Events / Event control Next navigation step Activate function modules (P/S) SAP application. End of the navigation path

Procedure

If you chose option A, notification has already been completed as part of the monitoring run. Nothing else needs to be done.

If you chose option B, the overdrawn accounts have only been flagged for notification during the monitoring run and you still have to do the following:

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Periodic tasks Next navigation step Tolerated overdraft Next navigation step Notification. End of the navigation path

  2. This gives you a list of accounts to be notified in accordance with your specifications.

  3. Choose Notify , to transfer the selected accounts to the business transaction event.

In the list of accounts to be notified, the processing status is displayed by a traffic-light symbol.
