 Display Functions for Archived Print Document Lines (IS-U-IN)

Use

You can use the archive information system (SAP AS) to display archived print documents.

Prerequisites

  • The Archive Development Kit (ADK) must be able to access the corresponding archive files.

  • The information structure has been activated and constructed.

    You activate the archive information structure in Customizing, under Start of the navigation path SAP Utilities Next navigation step Tools Next navigation step Archiving Next navigation step Activate Info Structure for Archiving Next navigation step Activate Archive Information Structure for Print Document Line Archive End of the navigation path .

The standard SAP archive information structure (SAP_ISU_PRDOCL) contains the following fields:

The system can only display print documents that are still contained in the index for archive access (archive index).

Activities

Proceed as follows to use the Display Print Document IS-U transaction (EA40) to display the document.

  1. Choose the symbol with the quick info text Print Document from Archive .

  2. You now reach the selection screen of the archiving information structure SAP_ISU_PRDOCH that is delivered as standard. If you have not activated this structure, but rather a separate information structure for the field catalog SAP_ISU_BBP, the selection screen for this is displayed instead.

  3. Enter your selection parameters.

  4. You obtain a list of all print documents that fulfill the specified selection conditions, and that exist in information structure SAP_ISU_PRDOCH.

  5. If the print document plan you require is contained in the list, you must enter data from other archiving sessions in the information structure.

  6. Select the print document you want to display.
