Subrogation/Recovery at Claim Header Level

You can use this function to create a subrogation/recovery item at claim header level. Up until now, it has been possible to do this at subclaim level only.

Perform the Customizing activity Configure Internal Claim Types in Customizing for SAP Insurance under Start of the navigation path Claims Management Next navigation step Claim Process Control (Internal Claim Types) End of the navigation path . In this activity, create a cross-subclaim entry (in other words, an entry without a specified subclaim type) and make the following settings for this entry:

In the Subro Permitted field, select an option that permits subrogation/recovery.
In the Subro/RcvryResT field, enter a reserve type.
