You can use this business function to efficiently perform merchandising activities that save time, optimize sales opportunities, and achieve customer and employee satisfaction. Retail, In-Store MIM provides worklists and functions that allow you to do the following:

  • Manage purchase orders with distribution centers or external vendors.

  • Manage customer orders at a service desk

  • View promotions, and edit or confirm planned promotion quantities

  • View goods movement

  • Run Mobile Applications for Inventory Management in ITSmobile technology

To use this business function, you must do the following:

  • Assign users to the store they work at. You do this in the personalization framework. Features

Retail, In-Store MIM provides the following features:

Customer Order Management at the Service Desk

This feature allows store associates to perform the following activities at the service desk:

  • Create, open, or run searches for information on private or corporate customers

  • Create, open, or run searches on sales orders or quotations

  • Fulfill delivery of sales orders

  • Cancel order fulfillments

  • Create returns for sales orders

  • Use worklists for delivery due items, sales orders, billing documents, expiring quotations, in-store reservation and pickup confirmations

Purchase Order

This feature allows store associates to manage purchase orders. They can order products from an external vendor, a distribution center, or another store. This feature also supports the following:

  • Creating, opening, or running searches on external purchase orders

  • Creating stock transfers

  • Posting goods issues

  • Returning orders to external vendors

Promotions

This feature allows store associates to view current and upcoming promotions assigned to the store and, with appropriate authority settings, change the quantities of items proposed for a promotion.

Goods Movement Overview

This features provides an overview of goods movement types such as inventory adjustment.

Mobile Applications for Inventory Management in ITSmobile technology

Mobile dialogues for:

  • Goods Receipt

  • Goods Movement

  • Physical Inventory

  • Inventory Lookup

These applications are started via Internet Service WSRS_HI_MENU.
