 Technical Object List

The Technical Object List is a personal object worklist (POWL) that you can configure to meet your own requirements. It shows the most important information about pieces of equipment and functional locations in a table and allows you to process one or more technical objects directly. The list contains all the technical objects that match the selection criteria in the query you have defined.

Prerequisites

You have defined and configured queries for the Technical Object List.

Features

Your personal object worklist offers you the following processing options for technical objects:

  • You can define individual worklists with specific selection criteria for pieces of equipment and functional locations.

With the Technical Object Type you can specify whether you want the system to display all technical objects in the results list, just pieces of equipment, or just functional locations. You can use selection criteria such as general data, master data, maintenance data, or location data of the technical object.

  • You can change how the information about the technical objects is displayed by configuring the layout of the Technical Object List.

  • You can navigate from the list to the technical objects and process them.

  • You can change the system status of one or more technical objects.

To do so, select one or more rows and choose Set Technical Object Status. Only those statuses are available that can currently be set for at least one of the selected objects.

  • Icons in the table column Changed indicate which technical objects the system was able to change successfully.

  • You can print the results list of your query as a PDF document.

The business add-ins (BAdIs) BAdI: Mass Change of Equipment Data in Web UI (IEQM_MASS_CHANGE2) and BAdI: Mass Change of Functional Location Data in Web UI (ILOM_MASS_CHANGE2) are available for making customer-specific enhancements to the mass data change function for technical objects.
