FMEA: Removal of Actions

With this product feature, you can set the status Removed for actions in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and thus hide actions from display. In contrast, actions with the previous status Deleted are still displayed in FMEA.

Effects on Existing Data

The new business transaction Remove and the corresponding status Removed are offered for FMEA actions. However, the business transaction Delete is no longer displayed. Actions that were removed are, in contrast to deleted actions, no longer visible and have no further influence on the valuation of the FMEA.

The removed actions are also no longer displayed in the whole environment:

They are excluded from searches and not displayed in search results.
They are not displayed in the worklist and cannot be copied to the templates.
They cannot be called up in the FMEA monitor.
When the job you set up for notifications under Extras Schedule Notifications is executed, no notifications are sent for removed actions.

Note Note

Restriction in causes with removed actions:

A cause can no longer be deleted even if all actions of a cause were removed and no more actions are visible for the cause.
