If you want to use the principle of multiple control (CA-GTF-TS-PDC), you have completed the following activities in Customizing for Bank Customer Accounts (IS-B-BCA)
,
under :
The account for which you create the prenote is active.
The input help in the prenote creation dialog lists the prenote types that you specified in the Customizing activity Define Prenote Types
.
If you have specified that the prenote is relevant for the available amount in the Customizing activity Define Prenote Types
, the system includes the prenote amount in the calculation of the available
amount for the related account, unless the prenote has expired.
When you save your data, the system checks the prenote for formal and material errors, even if you selected (Check
). You can force material checks, if required. If the
checks do not find any errors, the prenote receives the Active
status. If, however, the prenote has to be released, it receives the status In Release
, Change - In Release
, or Deletion - In Release
.
Once the release process is complete, the system changes the prenote status to Active
. Depending on whether the release user accepts or rejects the change, the system either assigns the prenote with a new and active version or it resets the prenote to its previous
status respectively.
For more information about the checks, see Formal and Material Checks.
You can create prenotes from the account screen, in the prenote transaction (on the SAP Easy Access
screen, choose ) or by using the BAPI mentioned above.
You must enter the following:
Bank area
Account number
Prenote type
Amount
Prenote reference number (up to 40 characters)
Valid-to date
After you save the prenote, you can view the status of the checks on the Administration
tab page.
