Archiving Profile Allocations and Usage Factors (IS-U-EDM)

You can use archiving object ISU_EUFASS to archive profile allocations and usage factors that are no longer required.

During archiving, the profile allocations and usage factors that can be archived are written to one or more archive files.

Structure

Data from the following tables is archived:

Table	Description
EUPASS	Allocation of load profiles to BOR objects
EUFASS	Allocation of usage factors to BOR objects
EUFASS_HIST	Usage factors applied to a load profile (history)

The following archiving actions and corresponding reports are available:

Action	Description	Report
Write	Analyzes whether profile allocations and usage factors can be archived, and archives those that can be archived	REEDM_EUFASS_ARCHIVE_ARCH
Delete	Deletes previously archived profile allocations and usage factors from the database	REEDM_EUFASS_ARCHIVE_DELETE
Read	Displays archived profile allocations and usage factors	REEDM_EUFASS_ARCHIVE_READ
Reload	Reloads archived profile allocations and usage factors to the database	REEDM_EUFASS_ARCHIVE_RELOAD

ILM Actions

The ILM Actions checkbox is available for this archiving object when the following conditions are met:

You are working within the SAP NetWeaver Information Lifecycle Management (SAP NetWeaver ILM) framework.
All the necessary prerequisites are satisfied, for example, the necessary business functions are activated.

The ILM actions allow you to archive data for which the retention periods defined in the Information Retention Manager (IRM) are evaluated. Furthermore, you can make snapshots of data and destroy data that satisfies the appropriate criteria.
