You can use archiving object ISU_BILL
to archive, delete, and reload billing document headers that are no longer required.
During archiving, billing document headers that are no longer required are written to one or more archive files. The preprocessing program checks for archivability at the document header level (see Checks).
Prerequisites
Before you archive the header data of billing documents, you must archive the document line items.
Recommendation
Set the retention period of the billing document headers, so that you do not have to reverse the document. To clear space on the database as early as possible, we recommend that you set the retention period of the reversed documents to be shorter than the retention period of the other documents.
Note
The Archive Billing Document Line Header

You are working within the SAP NetWeaver Information Lifecycle Management (SAP NetWeaver ILM) framework.
All the necessary prerequisites are satisfied, for example, the necessary business functions are activated.
The ILM actions allow you to archive data for which the retention periods defined in the Information Retention Manager (IRM) are evaluated. Furthermore, you can make snapshots of data and destroy data that satisfies the appropriate criteria. For more information, see the ILM Actions in the Write Program section of ILM Enhancements for Data Archiving.
Note
When you execute the Data Destruction
ILM action for archiving object ISU_BILL
, the usual archiving checks and preprocessing runs for this object are executed first. The data will only be destroyed if the normal rules for an archiving run are validated.
