 Create Memo Record

Procedure

To enter memo records, proceed as follows:

  1. Select Start of the navigation path Incomings or Planning Next navigation step Memo Record Next navigation step Create End of the navigation path

    Alternatively you can create memo records in the cash position or in the liquidity forecast.

  2. You can choose between single entry or quick entry. Both offer the option to copy and distribute entered payment advices or planned items.

  3. When entering a payment advice note, enter the company code and a planning type . The payment advice is assigned to the cash position.

  4. The screen for entering the payment advice appears. Enter one or more payment advices and then enter the following data:

    Planning Details

    Value Date

    Enter the day of the planned inflow or outflow of funds.

    Account Name

    Enter the Cash Management account name (e.g. DBGIRO).

    Currency Amount

    You can enter payment advices in local currency or foreign currency. If you enter a payment advice in foreign currency, enter the amount in the Currency Amount field and the foreign currency key in the Currency field. The exchange rate is automatically selected from the currency table if it has not been entered. For payment advices entered in local currency, you only have to enter the amount.

    Assignment

    You can link activities that belong together using an assignment number.

    Characteristics

    You can assign payment advices an identification characteristic.
