Change Date of Loss

When you are processing a claim bundle, you can change the date of loss retroactively. To do so, on the Contract Overview tab page, choose Change Date of Loss.

This function is triggered by function code MCCHGLDATE (Add New Date of Loss). You use the following settings to define the structure of the screen or dialog box that appear:
- Customizing activity Control Data Capture in 'Multiple Contract Handling'
- BADI_ICLE_MC, method CHANGE_FCODE
If you change the date of loss, the system checks those claims that have already been created to see if the date change has any effect on coverages. If it does have an effect, the system outputs an error message.
