You can use this business function to store sustainability data for vendors and materials. You can then use this information when evaluating vendors and materials during the purchasing process.
You can use the business function SRM, Catalog Innovations 2 (SRM_CATALOG_2) to enable integration of sustainability data in the master data management catalog. You can use the business function Analytics (LOG_MM_ANALYTICS_1) to activate the embedded analytics for sustainability in the Single Processing of Purchase Requisition (SPPR) application.

You can maintain and display sustainability data, such as a vendor's level of environmental, social, and economic compliance. Data is created at client level so it is valid for all company codes and purchasing organizations. You can also enter information relating to a vendor's compliance with environmental initiatives, any fines they have received, their adherence to labor policies such as child labor, and the level of supply risk they pose.
You can maintain and display sustainability data for materials, such as the environmental certificate awarded to it, the rating, in addition to the emission and waste associated with a material.
There are several reports available that display sustainability data and scores for vendors and materials.

Vendor Evaluation helps you select sources of supply and monitor existing supply relationships. It is now enhanced to include sustainability details, including the vendor's overall score. This information can be shown in the embedded analytics if you activate the business function Materials Management, Analytics 01(LOG_MM_ANALYTICS_01).
You can upload data relating to sustainability info records to the MDM Catalog. From the SAP Easy Access
