On the SAP Easy Access screen you can create, change, or display an accident event.

Procedure

Creating Accident Events

Normally you would create an accident event when processing a claim (see Mapping of Accident Events). However, you can create an accident event directly.

To do so, proceed as follows:

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Insurance Next navigation step Claims Management Next navigation step Bundle Next navigation step Accident Event Next navigation step Create End of the navigation path.

    The Change Claim Bundle: Initial Screen Accident Event screen appears.

  2. Enter the following data:

    • as claim bundle type, AC for Accident Event (obligatory)

    • as claim bundle type, 5 for Accident Questionnaire or 7 for Accident with Subrogation/Recovery (obligatory)

    • Recovery Claim Type (optional)

    • Date on which the accident occurred (optional)

  3. Choose Enter.

Changing Accident Events

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Insurance Next navigation step Claims Management Next navigation step Bundle Next navigation step Accident Event Next navigation step Change End of the navigation path.

  2. Enter the number of the accident event.

  3. Choose Enter.

    The system calls the accident event in change mode.

Displaying Accident Events

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Insurance Next navigation step Claims Management Next navigation step Bundle Next navigation step Accident Event Next navigation step Display End of the navigation path.

  2. Enter the number of the accident event.

  3. Choose Enter.

    The system calls the accident event in display mode.
