You can use this function to simulate visual work instructions in the Working
panel of Visual Manufacturing Planner (VMP) to check the sequence of bill of materials (BOM) items based on the selected node level (root node, sequence node, or operation node). You can play the animation, each step will set visibility to true for the assigned instances.
You can use this function in the Working
panel for root level node or sequence level node. This function allows you to create a new document with version and upload a visual work instruction to the document. You can link this document to all routing operations as a PRT document. You can also export it to a system defined location in your local machine.
A project system is integrated with Visual Manufacturing Planner by introducing network activities into the planner.
If you assign bill of material (BOM) items to a network activity manually and then make changes to the BOM, you have to manually make these changes in the network as well. The bill of material transfer feature makes it easier for you to assign material components to network activities and keeps updating this information. By loading the network activities in the planner and assigning the BOM components to the network activities, the reference ID on the network activities will be copied on to the BOM items allocated to that activity. This avoids the manual effort of allocating reference points to bill of material (BOM) components.
You can load, change, or remove a network for a planning scope alternative of scenario type Doc to Non-Config with Network
.
You use this function to create plant independent MBOMs.
