Sales and Distribution, SAP Jam Integration (Enhanced)
As of SAP enhancement package 7 SP06 for SAP ERP 6.0 (SAP_APPL 617), the business function Sales and Distribution, JAM Integration (LOG_SD_JAM_INTEG)
is available. With this business function, you can enable the SAP Jam Follow/Unfollow menu option in the Services for Objects
menu of the sales order, invoice, quotation, outbound delivery, and customer business objects In addition, the business function enables switchable BC set (ESJI_NOTIF_RECEIVERS) which notifies change document objects of customer and quotation business objects for SAP Jam.
When the user enables the SAP Jam Follow option, the user receives notifications on the SAP Jam page for the business objects. When the user enables the SAP Jam UnFollow option, the user does not receive notifications for the business objects on the SAP Jam page.
All the IMG nodes containing customer specific customizing related to JAM integration for SD are behind the same business function/switch.
