This business function enables you to obtain batch related information stored in different SAP ERP systems, and from Non-SAP systems with different levels of granularity using SAP xMII 12.0 (provided currently as a working example). In addition, the business function contains Customizing activities to activate batch history functionality. These applications support you to obtain the complete history data for a batch with all details maintained in different systems, different reports and transactions.
The functions for batch history enhance the existing Batch Information Cockpit and are activated through Customizing settings. The functions for batch history from this business function support you in the development of a suitable customer-specific application in the external systems.

Use in Batch Information Cockpit
You can use the standard selection variant functionality in Batch Information Cockpit to search the batch history.
Batch History Tab Page
At the level of the standard selection variant, you can use the additional batch history tab page to set up and save the selection criteria. To search for cross system batches, select Cross System
from the tab page.
Activate Batch—Related Object (BRO) Types
You can activate/deactivate the BRO types in the Customizing. The BRO types are displayed/hidden as a selection criteria for executing the batch history report.

You can have the header information and ALV grid display of batch history details.
