Effects on Existing Data

When a customer is blocked, access to dispute cases linked to the blocked customer is restricted. You cannot create new dispute cases nor process existing dispute case for a blocked customer. The dispute cases are deleted using the Case Management archiving object, SCMG.

Effects on Customizing

To use SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) to simplify the deletion of application-specific personal data:

  • Activate the business function Information Lifecycle Management (ILM).

  • Make the necessary Customizing settings related to SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) in Customizing for Start of the navigation path SAP NetWeaver Next navigation step Application Server Next navigation step Basis Services Next navigation step Information Lifecycle Management.   • Run transaction IRMPOL and maintain the required retention policies for Case Management application (ILM object: SCMG).
