Note
Tip: In the case of a weekend or public holiday, you can shift the posting of a standing order either to the next or to the previous working day.
When you save the standing order the system issues a standing order number specific to the account.
Note
Release Procedure
If you have defined a release procedure for standing orders, the new standing order now has the New - In Release Process
status. It needs to be released by a user with appropriate authorization.
You cannot delete standing orders with this status.
If you reject standing orders with this status, the system assigns the Deleted
status.
If the standing order is being used for a recurring SDD order, the system triggers the relevant mandate and SEPA checks. For more information, see Creation of SEPA Direct Debit Orders: Recurring.

Note
Charges
You can levy charges for the creation, change, or deletion of a standing order, by using the DirectCharges
condition category. If a standing order is subject to release, the system levies these charges only after the standing order is released.
Note
Execution
You can execute standing orders as part of the end-of-day processing.
If a standing order cannot be executed, (for example, due to a negative limit check), the system generates a payment order with the status In Postprocessing
. You can then decide whether or not the payment order is to be posted. You can also delete this payment order.
