Checks (IS-U-BI)
A number of conditions must be fulfilled to ensure that only installation facts that are no longer required are archived from the system. The preprocessing program checks that:
The retention periods for the ETTIFN and ETTIFB tables must have expired. You the retention period in Customizing .
You can only archive an active entry if there are no older active entries in the same logical unit (sequence check). A logical unit comprises the entries in the ETTIFN table for client, installation, operand, and season (the first four key fields in the database table). The sequence check does not apply to inactive entries.
You can only archive values that have been updated or changed automatically if the billing document selected in BELNR or MBELNR has already been archived (document check). No older entries that have not yet been archived can exist for an object.
Aside from these standard checks, the selection conditions specified in the selection screen must also be met.
Caution
The system indicates all selected installation facts with the status
Inactive
as ready for deletion. Installation facts that correspond to the selection criteria and do not have the status
Inactive
are indicated as archivable by the system.

The system lists installation facts that have already been analyzed in four tables that are added to the BAdI as an installation. A further parameter transfers the current installation.
