Refreshing the Deploy Tool

This function applies only to the Assembler and Deployer tabs.

• For the Assembler tab:

  Choose Refresh when the JAR file you have loaded to a project has been changed outside the Deploy Tool. If the JAR files are generated using the J2EE Components tab, it is enough to choose Save and to switch between the tabs.

  Note

  The changes you have made to the descriptors in the Assembler tab will be preserved, even though the values in the archive file have been changed. If you add a new deployment property in the archive file, however, it will be displayed when you refresh.

• For the Deployer tab:

  Choose Refresh when the EAR or some of its component files you have loaded to a project have been changed outside the Deploy Tool.

1. Choose the Assembler or Deployer tab.
2. Choose the Refresh button or <Tab Name> menu → Refresh.
