Purpose

The Administration and Monitoring IT process allows you to run all scheduling and monitoring activities in the Enterprise Data Warehouse, as well as measures for maintaining the quality of data. This process supports you in minimizing operating costs and securing the reliability of the data quality.

Prerequisites

In order to run this process, you have defined the Enterprise Data Warehousing process in the Data Flow Control process.

Process Flow

The following process runs in the BI and BI Java usage types:

  1. You schedule the process chain.
  2. You monitor the load process using the Administrator Cockpit.

Result

The Enterprise Data Warehousing processes run according to the scheduling criteria defined in the process chains. You can react to the errors that are displayed during monitoring.
