A location represents the source or target of a transportation lane in the procurement process. Location data includes, among other things, the date on which the source location can deliver products and the date on which the target location can receive them.

The following standard location types are relevant in SAP F&R :

  • External supplier

  • Distribution center

  • Store

 

You can import locations through the interface – from an integrated SAP Retail system, for example – and then edit them in SAP F&R.

To maintain locations, go to the SAP Easy Access screen and choose Start of the navigation path Forecasting and Replenishment Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Location Next navigation step Maintain Locations End of the navigation path.
