Reorganization of DIF data (deletion of DIF occurrences)

DIF occurrences and their assignments to locations and products become obsolete when their validity period ends before the forecasting time horizon. They also may become obsolete if a DIF is no longer used (removed from Customizing) or if DIF occurrences are deactivated. This report, which can be run in the background, allows for mass deletion of DIF data.

The report provides log information. Deleted objects are not stored to any archive.

Detection of first-time occurrences

Future first-time occurrences of a DIF have no effect on the forecasted demand since the forecast algorithms require historical occurrences to estimate the future effect. This report, which can be run in the background, detects these first-time occurrences.

Detection of overlapping occurrences

This report detects all overlapping occurrences of a DIF within a given time period and that are assigned to the specified locations and products.
